Asbury Woods

With some help from our United Way friends, 4th grade students experienced a presentation by Asbury Woods. During the lesson, students delved into an engaging lesson on nature, where they worked collaboratively to identify animal footprints and habitats. Under the guidance of the knowledgeable instructor, they used critical thinking to analyze the evidence shared with them from the environment, discussing and hypothesizing which animals the footprints belonged to based on their shapes, sizes, and surrounding habitats. This activity not only fostered a deeper understanding of local wildlife and ecosystems but also enhanced their ability to work as a team, leveraging each student's observations and ideas to solve natural mysteries together. This practical application of their studies was a fantastic way for them to connect with nature and each other.
