2025-2028 UCASD Comprehensive Plan
The Union City Area School District is committed to continued growth and collaboration through PDE's comprehensive planning process. During the 2024-2025 School Year, we reconvened our UCASD Comprehensive Planning Steering Committee to conduct a thorough needs assessment of our District. During that process, we developed the following 2025-2028 UCASD Comprehensive Plan and required reports, which were Board approved on March 13, 2025 following the required 28-day public review, which began on February 12, 2025; during that review period, we shared a publicly accessible Google Form review link for feedback from any and all stakeholders. The plan below was then submitted to PDE on March 18, 2025.
Our Steering Committee team, comprised of parents, faculty, staff, administrator, and community members, will continue to meet to evaluate our progress toward our District's goals throughout the 2025-2028 cycle.

2022-2025 UCASD Comprehensive Plan
During the 2021-2022 school year, our Steering Committee reviewed and developed our 2022-2025 Comprehensive Plan. This plan was shared with our School Board of Directors, faculty, staff, and community in the Spring of 2022. Beginning July 1, 2022, our plan was publicized for its 28-day review period prior to Board approval in August. In August, our plan was Board-approved and submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
